After OnoPops (Hawaii paleta popsicles) was started and the company was gaining traction throughout the state, we were contacted to build a website that would mirror the brand, its products and vision. Food & Wine Magazine had just rated them #1 in the country - The Top of the Pops. We jumped on board without hesitation. We were already big fans of the delicious popsicles and wanted to spread the buzz to the internet.

The brand was telling a story of Hawaii, with its rich agriculture, culinary and cultural history along with the bounty of food and flavors found in the islands. The ingredients were either local or organic or both. No artificial flavors. All of this combined into wild popsicle flavors with extremely creative ingredient combinations. And the product titles were something else. Where else in the world could you get away with making, and selling, a Spam Musubi Pop?

The website was created around the owners vision of a popsicle island (OnoPops Island) inhabited by various characters representing flavors. A former Disney artist created each of these characters. With unique names and a detailed story, the flavors came to life.

Interested? Intrigued? Confused? Its a world best understood with your eyes and taste buds and, of course, a pinch of imagination.
